Kinship Care Symposium

The Kinship Care Symposium will be a half-day event at the Athens City Community Center, 701 E. State Street, Athens, Ohio, focused on building awareness of kinship caregiver challenges, sharing available resources in the region, discussing best practices, and addressing policy solutions.

Featured speakers include Melissa Lilly, Director of West Virginia State University Extension’s Healthy Grandfamilies; Lynn Stevens of the Ohio Grandparent/Kinship Coalition; and Deborah Knaup and Lisa Remy of the Ohio Kinship & Adoption Navigator (OhioKAN).
